A wee look at the preparation for the degree show (which took more than 3 mins 16 seconds) - although I only get a second or two on air, I do get the massive thumbnail image of my resin staligmites. Pretty cool.

Degree Show Update
I must apologise for being so awful at updating my blog for the past month - it has without doubt been the craziest of my life... But I've been giving out my blog address to everyone so I must update you all...
I am half way through Duncan of Jordanstone's 2012 Degree Show in Dundee (http://www.dundee.ac.uk/djcad/degreeshow/). So far it has been more than I could have hoped for; a fabulous opening night with family and friends, a big photo of my work in the Scotsman, enough sales to put my mind at ease about paying rent now SAAS has left me (among others, one buyer runs The Unicorn, another is the Chair of the V&A....), and today I turned up to my space to find a lovely little note offering me an internship at a local artists collective with my own studio space.
I will update photos of the show as soon as I can convince someone to lend me a working camera.
In the meantime, thank you to everybody who has visited the show - and for those of you who haven't, it's open 10-8 till Friday, and 10-4 Sat and Sun. Come and be cultural.

Natural Smile
We've recently had to submit information for the Degree Show catalogue - a bit about our work, contact details, a photo of our work and a photo of us. In true last minute style, on the morning of the deadline Kirsty told me she hadn't done it. So, we had a little fun taking some photos and I've put together a little collection of my favourites.
These images show the real smile.
(I have absolutely no consent for putting these images up online. But I did take them - does that count?)

Coll Beaches
So while you were getting snowed in here on mainland Scotland, I was sunning myself on this tropical beach... on Coll. Coll has suffered some horrendous weather over the winter - a very harsh place to live. Especially if you have polytunnels.
